About Gráinne Úaile Atlantic Ale

Gráinne Úaile Atlantic Ale (GAA) is our winter special brown ale; it is an all grain brown ale with no caramel added for colouring. It is a robust beer suitable for the Wild Atlantic Way with deep, complex flavours from dark malts and spicy hops, as befitting the famous pirate queen Gráinne Úaile herself. Honey from Westport is also included in the recipe, providing local flavour notes courtesy of the bees from the area!

Food Pairings

GAA pairs well with Atlantic ocean dishes of fish and shellfish, preferably with a view of the ocean and a taste of the sea air.
